The first round of the International Volleyball tournament in Puerto Vallarta was launched on 12 June 2009 in the Sports Stadium Agustín Flores Contreras. This tournament had 10 international teams and a total of 2 Mexican teams, these teams were competing against each other. The end of this volleyball tournament was held on 14 June.
