Real Estate in El Salvador? Central America or the Caribbean?
My husband and I are thinking about leaving Florida and moving to another country. Always monitor House Hunters International and see Americans moving to other countries and we are inspired. We have investigated a number of countries like Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, etc, but have found that many Americans have moved there and the prices are not as cheap as we thought. We are now in El Salvador, but I think it can not find any information on real estate and properties for sale over there. We have a total of $ 150,000 that we move with (what is not much) and looking for a house or very close to the beach anywhere in either Central America or the Caribbean. I am Cuban and my husband is African American, so we are also looking for a place that is friendly and open to Americans. We also have 2 daughters in elementary school (who barely speak Spanish) so we need a place it is safe. Any suggestions on where to move and see?
