What are the top three tourist attractions in Costa Rica think? For example, if this question was about Toronto I would say that the CN Tower, Eaton Center, and the Sky Dome (newly renamed the Center for Roger …) Thanks!
Nina well, it is hard to say because there is so much diversity in this country. A typical tourist attraction is the arenal volcano, with hot springs and good views. Monteverde is a great place to go after visiting the volcano if you are on your way to the beaches of the Nicoya Peninsula and Guanacaste. Manuel Antonio is a beautiful tropical jungle in the South Pacific and it is conservation. Very nearby is the Corcovado National Park on the Osa Peninsula, which I recommend. Later in this South Pacific region can also go to Pavones is s surf spot with one of the longest left breaks in the world. Tortuguero is nice, but do not a great trip there in any season. At this moment sooo rainy weather in the Caribbean, but in Guanacaste (North Pacific) is hot and dry. Tortuguero is the best in July and August, when green turtles come to nest there. As you can see, there are regions in Costa Rica that have three things to see in every one of them. View all that is difficult because land travel is through the rough mountain landscape. You can, however, flying within the country, making everything more accessible.
