Holidays in Puerto Rico or Costa Rica?
Hello everyone. I am planning a trip with my boyfriend this summer. We have to shrink to Costa Rica or Puerto Rico. I would get some information from someone who has been either or both countries? We definitely want to do outdoor activities and want to visit a beach. From what I read they both have nice ones. We are in our twenty-five and would not mind a place with some evening activities. Thanks
Both are beautiful. Puerto Rico: Pros: It's America, so that the use of U.S. currency (as is not to emphasize math in your head all day). They bio-bays, that are very unique and fresh. Arecebo is one of a kind place. The cave system is not impressive in size, but incredibly beautiful. The forts in Old San Juan are fascinating. A lot of National Forest hiking, kayaking, surfing and beaching. Most wildlife is of the variety of birds. They do not have snakes. Con: The only indigenous mammal is the bat. They have 12-inch centipede. The population of stray dogs will break your heart. They are everywhere, broken, Unfear, and breed like rabbits. Most are covered in fleas and are half-starved. There have been some nonprofit who have been trying to get under control, but it's really sad. situation of Costa Rica: Advantages: They have a huge diversity of wildlife. Monkeys, iguanas, sloths. As tourism is one thing great for the economy, which really serve the tourist, making things very easy for people. There are tour companies that offer all the activities under the sun. Due so many American tourists, the most touristic places accept U.S. currency, but it can not always get good exchange rate. The people here are fantastic (at unless I've tried). They have active volcanoes, hot springs, beaches. They surfing, zip lining, white river rafting and a million other activities. Cons: snakes, snakes, snakes I've done both, I have been repeatedly CR – is definitely my favorite. But it is too beautiful and incredibly PR will not regret if you choose that one instead.
