How can I convince my mother to let me go to Costa Rica on a school trip?
It costs $ 2000 and I probably work over the summer, but I doubt I'm going to do much. What can I do to convince my mother to let me go and pay for me?
It depends on what your mom is more concerned – Are you concerned about that dangerous, or too costly? Find out exactly what your mom has in mind and try to appeal to that. As a school trip, I suppose it is just a show, and travel, but has so much volunteer work and learning involved, in which case you could really stress to her mother that would be a great experience for you. I did a school trip to Costa Rica in my first year, and it was amazing. I hope you get to go too!
