Go travel to costa rica 9 days with Caravan Tours. Do you have any comments on there hotels, food service, hospitality, and especially his experience. Should you stay at the Palace of Barcello, Laguna Lodge (I ear that had roaches everywhere), Magic Mountain, Double Tree resort and Aurola Hotel. Suzie Homemaker and I have very different views of Costa Rica. She is the only person I've heard about negativily experience (outside of San Jose, which is a kind of landfill). Most people love. Americans are moving there en masse. They've got entire neighborhoods where Americans come to live. This is not a bad place, and most people have a great experience. However, with its list of diseases, I suspect that probably gets sick before she got off the plane and did not know that because the incubation periods. Of However, not everyone who goes to Paris is a fantastic time, so I guess not everyones experience in Costa Rica is not perfect either. I have never Goton salad sick and I use transparent and eat. I drink bottled water, but only because it's offered everywhere. Except in extreme rural areas, the water in Costa Rica has been considered safe, but it never hurts to be a little cautious. I've never had a problem with any restarant or any food service. I've never been sick from eating there. Actually eat better in CR that I do at home. Lots of fresh fruit and plenty of beans and rice. As for the crime must go no worse than anywhere else as you've gone. Just do not do anything in Costa Rica do not feel comfortable doing it anywhere in the United States travels too much and you'll be fine. The rate crime is much lower than in the U.S., and theft is their biggest problem (not unlike Washington DC, New York or Paris). It is a goal, use common sense, and not bother you. As other things: – Make sure you have an extra memory card and extra batteries for your camera. You never want to be outside, because guareteed, you kick yourself. – Carry extra socks, and if you plan to do any hiking in the mountains, you might want to consider their boots or shoes. Not everywhere, I've hiked that I needed, but I was very happy to have them in Arenol National Park. – If you go during the summer, could not hurt to have a poncho Incase you get stuck in the rain. I have never taken a tour organized. I always fix my own itinerary and transportation.
